I got an email from the recycling mob company to say that they had received my old mob and they will be sending me a cheque for £95.
Got a childrens wardrobe with some of the fittings from Ikea yesterday but a draw is unavailable and I have to wait until next week to ring them to see if its arrived in the warehouse. This is the second time this has happened with Ikea. So annoying as I wanted to fit it this weekend!

Hi Fluffy I'm fine thanks. I've just come back after several months away, had a baby and was generaly fed up with the abusers on here. At least now if you have an avatar you can tell when an ABer is genuine or not.

No probs tigg - my english isn't perfect, we established on another thread that it's becasue in an english accent the word sounds the same either way - In scotland, it doesn't sound anything alike :o).
You could quite easily get your dad to build up the unit with the exception of the offending drawer and then do that later yourself - it's quite easy to do them and the IKea stuff is usually quite straightforward.

Yes, I know what that is like. lol
Tell you Dad a wee white lie and get him over to build it all up - the one drawer wont take long to do by yourself. I agree it's annoying, but if you say to your dad that you'll do it yourself if he doesn't come and help and it may make him change his mind!
Good luck with it.

Drawers are the last bit of self-build jigsaw, tigger, your Dad can just leave that drawer, surely?
I bought a cupboard from MFI before they folded, when it came they had nicked a handle (presumably to put on something else where the handle was missing) - it took nearly six months and letters to their MD to get them to send me a replacement. I was fuming!

box, we had a kitchen supplied and fitted by MFI in one of our previous houses- one of the handles snapped after about 6 months so we popped in to see if we could get replacement handle. They gave us a whole bag full in case any others went. When we opened the bag, there must have been about 20 handles in there! we moved shortly after so left them for the buyers - they must have wondered why we had so many left over.
