not sure what hotspur and wizard are but i sure you can still get beano and dandy.
not 100% sure. I did have dandy annual 2-3 years ago

My fav was 2000 ad which I think is still going. Last time I looked, it was about 3 comic strip pictures to one page.

Don't forget the Lion, Tiger and Hornet. You could join the Lion club for 1s (5p). Every week they would print a list of six dates, and if your birthday was one of those you could send off for a free gift. Mine was printed when I was 10 and I got a cheap stamp collector's kit. I was thrilled. My life does not seem to have got much more interesting over the ensuing 50 years!
