my son has a lump

I have just posted this under parenting questions but didnt get much of a response so now trying on chatterbank...

I have just noticed my one year old son has a lump located just under where his ribcage joins together. It feels quite solid and is about the size of a pea.
Does anyone know what this could be, should I take him to the hospital now or go to the doctors in the morning. Have got myself a bit worried and dont know what to do...

Go to the doctors. Lumps are usually harmless but should always be checked.
