getting carpets fitted next week and signed up to a 'pay nothing for 6 months' deal (allied carpets)
Casually speaking to the sales-lady I mentioned that I'll be saving up the amount within 6 months as not to incur any interest. She said there is no interest to pay- even in 6 months.
I've read and re-read the contract and payment plan and yes, it reads as 'pay nothing for 6 months and then pay 12 monthly instalments for the balance - no interest'
In my cynical mind that sounds to good to be true- how do they make money?
