Failure on booking Take That tickets!

Well everybody, despite being ready from 8.15am I didn't manage to get any tickets!! I think they should have like a queuing system on these websites just like they do at box offices! It really annoys me that some people who don't even want these tickets some how manage to get through, purchase loads and then sell them on ebay at a ridiculous price! Did anyone manage to get any tickets? x

like you I have been trying all day, they have just announced a second concert so I guess I will be going through it all again!!!

It said on the news at lunchtime that the website had crashed due to to much traffic, tickets were still available and keep trying

Gave up on Website. Managed to get through to ticketmaster on there automated phone line and got 4 tickets for my daughter and friends.By the way people were offering them for sale on E bay last night before they even went on sale!!!!

I have managed to get through to the payment stage twice on Ticketmaster and then the site crashed, its hopeless

How much were the tickets from the genuine site, as I just noticed there were LIVE 2011 TICKETS WEMBLEY SAT 2ND JULY going for £999,00, that's taking the p1ss!

My daughter in law and 3 of her friends got 4 tickets. As soon as one of them got through the others stopped trying

Hey,
I was gutted as like you I had been on ticketmaster ready and waiting since 830am but it just froze at 9 and did not recover no matter how much I refreshed. I then got a call from a good friend saying he had been doing the same for me and got thru. So I got 4 tickets purely by chance!!!
WELL ruffled around the boa that year after year noone bothers to come up with a better way of allocating tickets for true fans!!!

This was featured on Watchdog the other day, Ticketmaster didn't come out of it very well since another site which sells them as soon as Ticketmaster is sold out, is actually a subsidiary of Ticketmaster. They do point out that on the back of the ticket is says it's an offence to resell for profit (apparently).
