Is anyone else getting sick of the rash of compliation programmes on TV now?

It seems like there is a 'best of / greatest' for every genre you can think of, and a few you can't!

I know it's cheap TV, but is it really a substitute for decent programming? I started watching one presented by Kerry Katona, and after the first 10, they had a recap! I realised my intelligence was being insulted just a bit too much - even for Channel 5, so off it went!

What do you think about these shows?

I compare to watching these shows as to eating a McDonalds - cheap and unfulfulling. And why are the same people on it each time giving their opinion? Go away!

Culminating in the one-off special 'Best of the best of' to be shown nowhere near me never.

I agree about the usual suspects who believe we wish to hear their opinion.

I agree with you andy, it is cheap and tacky television. As for decent programmes, well they are few these days. Whats more one cannot turn to another channel they are all at it !!! Churning out rubbish. I watch the news for what it is worth and little else.

Andy, when did you get back?!??!
