sex for how long?
11 Answers
At what age do people stop having sex? Of course it varies from individual to individual and would depend on each persons level of health etc. but, firstly, is there an age whereby us humans are no longer capable?!
Secondly, apart from actual capability what do you reckon is the average age at which people are no longer interested?
Lastly, is it true that women are no longer interested in having sex once they've had their children?

Well it can be true in some cases, especially as they are so many other things that link into it such as post natal depression - but some women have a higher sex drive after kids than they did before. And sometimes, its just sheer exhaustion from screaming kids that doesn't put you in the mood for sex, but doesn't mean you've gone off it.
Experience tells me that there is no age limit. Purely mental or physical condition that slows one down. I have also found that women over 50 have a new lease of life and many turn into raving sex maniacs. It's funny how kids always think that their parents can't possibly still be having a sexual relationship.
People stop having sex when they stop breathing. There is no age limit - remember sex isn't just about full intercourse, so even if the male isn't "up to it" any more it doesn't stop the couple having a full sex life. There is no average age for people becoming disinterested in sex as it is down to the individual and external factors should be considered (as previously mentioned) menopause, post natal depression, lack of sleep, stress, middle-age spread can all be factors in losing one's libido. And finally we stopped having kids 18 months ago and my wife can't keep her hands off me.....
Women may have problems with full intercourse after the menopause - but it is solvable with a wide range of lubrications available. As for having kids - to start with, maybe. If the mother is breastfeeding natural evolution decrees that it is not wise to conceive again - sex drive tails off. After that I suspect both father and mother are not that interested - tiredness, and the possibility of "being interrupted" contributing, but otherwise not.
