Cawl a bara? Do I detect a slight hint of Welshness?
Living there ... not indigenous.

Oh Naz, You mention cawl, and bara!..................so where in Wales are you?..................
"ensures naz never needs his 'nomads' again> ;oP "

Ô¿Ô

I'm near Aberystwyth.
welsh. what are cawl and bara ?
Loathe them Welsh, nothing snuggly about them, bring back the light!
Cawl = Stew (lamb usually) Bara = Bread

I just realised, I put our clocks back an hour ... we are now officially 53 years and 1 hour behind the rest of the UK.
Question Author
Anne, Cawl is lamb stew!............lovely! bara is bread!..........home baked of course!...............
Cawl is soup (broth). Bara is bread. Courtesy of an Englishman who has just managed to crack the Welsh language.
Question Author
Naz, you are in a better place as a result of this!........wish we all were too!..............
I try to hibernate too, I try not to go out unless I have to.

I worried about our cat too sometimes I just can't get her in of a night. In IKEA they had a little waterproof cat-tent its completely closed in, about 14" high with a round entrance, it folds down when not in use, I've secured it in the lilac follage & have put a blanket in. I noticed her in it yesterday when it rained so thats put my mind at rest.
She'll be dry & warm at night. "put another log on the fire James"

good on you mike, quite right!..............
That's kind of you, Jem.
I've cracked the mutations too, so I know the difference between fy nghar, dy gar, ei gar & ei char. Dw i'n dod o Fangor. Dw i'n byw ym Mangor. Not bad for a saesneg, eh?.
Very good, but I think you mean 'tractor', lmao.
