but is there any need for all the swearing on the tv tonight???...there was a heroin addict on itv reciting a ''poem'' and every other word was a swear word and now im watching ch4 and there is loads of swearing...oh well im off to f****g bed....

I spent the afternoon with my sister on saturday, her favourite word is Lady Veg.... Ever since then I've felt the swearing on tv pretty tame.
My new TV is fecking HUGE!!

hi craft i think it was called ''coppers''....yes count he was a bit ''full on '' as you say but surely they could have ommitted some of the scums swearing...

lol emmb yes corrie is very life like lol...in fact my neighbour is very much like the old charecter fred elliott...he makes me smile every time i see him...[he is a nice chap tho]..

i dont believe its only young people who use bad language, didnt see the programme stoke, sadly its how it is,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
the guy was in his 30's and a right scumbag ..a complete drain of society as his life consists of stealing... to fund a heroin addiction and spending a lot of his time in custody. the poem he was so proud of one of the most disgusting things i've ever heard.
the programme went on to say that he used to pimp his girlfirlend out to strangers -no donbt another measure to fund their habits.what a lowlife.

I only caught the last bit where that so-called 'poet' was mouthing off. I hated it. I cringed. I don't think it should have been shown.

Poetry should be beautiful, or moving, or dramatic or contemplative - not downright offensive, abusive and with the most awful words, contempt and hatred.
I found this very disturbing, the 'poem' was so disgusting and crude, there were swear words that should never, never be said in real life, yet alone on TV
