Just had a look on HMRC site carlton and it appears not.

Thanks mazie, I want to get mine arranged today and just wondered if I had to pay it.
what do you have planned? Will it be in a church ? I don't think funeral directors charge VAT but a vicar may,
So there could be VAT on headsones and coffins...
According to the HMRC site no VAT on coffins, not sure about the headstones. Anyway carlton it's all on the link I posted
