when i got my tyres resealed, as they had slow leaks, when i drove away all the tyres had white streaks all over them, fanning outwards with the spin of the wheels...

is this normal? has half the sealant fallen out in the wet weather?

i was allowed to leave the garage, not told to let them dry...

or is it just excess residue or something?

dont want them going down again

cheers

yes quite normal they would have squirted water round the rim to test for a tight seal. this would have mixed with the residue and dust etc and streaked out as you describe.
It, just the residue from the soap lubricant they use to get the tyre on easily, it will easily wash off.
