'liver'
it's what i was told about the liver function bit of my annual blood test. haven't seen my gp yet to ask her and can't find anything on google. it's obviously not a problem but it did seem an odd word to use in a blood test result. wondered if you knew squad.
When one uses the word "stable" for any results in medicine, it usually refers to the effectiveness of treatment of a given medical condition. I can only assume that your comments refer to routine liver function tests and in which case the words "stable" and normal are synonymous.
if it's an annual test it just means it's the same or thereabouts as last year
stable.............. unchanged since last results.
Question Author
right ho, thanks.
last year the bit that pertained to alcohol was higher than normal but not a problem, gp dismissed it really and said don't worry about it.
so if i'm understanding it right, sounds like it's the same as last year? that's a blow as i've been trying (and obviously failing miserably) not to drink as much wine.
oh well, as long as i'm 'stable'....better go and open a bottle to cheer myself up ;o)
eth...blood sugar questionable, liver function tests questionable........LOL ,,,the word incorrigible comes to mind.
Question Author
incorrigible, unquenshable, unsinkable, unsteady and untimately undaunted squad ;o)
(by the way, where do you go for your hols, as per holiday 2011 thread??)
eth....no where......been most places...seen it....done it.

mrs sqad goes to Palma, Barcelona and Manchester shopping about 5 times a year..not with me I might add and I go to Manchester about five times a year for a weekend break.

We both agree on that strategy.
