This got me thinking about the ocean floor rising, if this happened in a deep part of the Atlantic with the Us side rising by 10 meters what kind of water displacement are we talking and if a tsunami is generated how high would this average and how much of the uk would be at risk?

I'd be more worried about the risk that half of one of the Canary islands falls in the sea (as expected that it will at some point), since this will generate the tsunami which devastates the Eastern seaboard of the USA.

Check out "Plate Tectonics" in Google. The earth's crust is very active.

Yes, there are methane seeps and discharges all the time but this doesn't look anything like that. This quite simply looks like the ROV dipping it's nose down and then back up again as it repositions itself. That's why the arm moved just beforehand to allow that move. It's also disturbed the surrounding sediment which is swirling around the ROV once it's settled itself again.

It's quite obvious from watching the video. It's certainly more credible than 'the whole ocean floor rising and collapsing again'!
