I fell down a whole fight of stairs yesterday and as a result, i have a huge carpet burn on may back and elbow. I have also badly bruised my big toe and the top of my thigh. Unfortunatly the burn on my back is on my right half and my bruised thigh is on my left side, therefore making it very painful to sleep. Has anyone got any suggestions to treat the burn? Its a friction burn so bleeds slightly so i dont want anything that is going to sting. Believe it or not, it actually hurt when i had a shower this morning and i never put any soap of anything on.

I would be grateful of any advice.

Aye Aye thats your story and youre sticking to it.!!

I always use Aloe Vera - any good health food shop.

It has remarkable healing properites if you have sunburn and is so soothing and cooling.

get someone to go to the chemist and get you some witch hazel keep it in the fridge..it will bring all the bruising out really fast..also its cheap..its the finest thing out for bruising..
Apparently lavendar oil is meant to be good for burns.

That is my story, Buddy, and i'm sticking to it. Lol. It was a lot less fun than the thing ur thinking about! lol

I have Witch Hazel for the bruises, the one on my rear end and toe have come up a lovely dark shade of purple!

I will try the Aloe Vera and see if that helps the burn. Unfortunatly i dont think i'll be trying the Lavender suggestion as it makes me feel sick. Thanx for the advice anyway.

Cheers all x
