He is on Ramsays best restaurant on Ch4.
His son is the owner/chef of http://www.winteringhamfields.co.uk/menus and he is up against a French restaurant in Edinburgh.

He wont tell me who won to go through to the semi finals, so will have to wait and see.

Winteringham Fields is marketed as a restaurant with rooms, focusing on their gastronomic delights. I think that to make the experience worthwhile, you'd have to be a foodie. Posh food, small portions but lots of them.

Having said that .... it's a beautiful building, lots of rooms with squishy sofas and stylish furniture, very picturesque ... I just think that it's a lot of cash to pay if you're not into fine dining.

He is on again tonight in the semi finals and maybe into the final, but he is up against some stiff competition and all will be revealed.

I don't know the result, his Father wont tell me.

Great series and top notch grub -ive only been to the Thai one in St. Andrews.(it was very good but not worthy of their place I didnt think)
