outside my house on my driveway I have got 2 large patches of oil /petrol , Can someone please tell me how I can get rid of these please. With many thanks

Put down some fuller's earth......some cat litter is mainly fuller's earth. Cheapest one you can get.

Leave it alone for several hours or overnight then brush it up.
Repeat if necessary.
It sounds too easy to be true, but it works like a charm.

Cover with sand to soak up oil

strongish solution of fairy liquid works for me.

Sand is the best, my OH forgot to put the cap on the oil when he'd topped it up. It spilt all over our red brick setts.

We've always used soap powder a brush and water - works brilliantly :-)
