Hiya,

I've just brought a flight to Malaga in Spain with the intention of getting a ferry across to Morocco.

Has anybody done this route before? I could use some tips on costs/Moroccan ports etc. I land in Malaga about one in the afternoon and ideally would like to hit Morocco before nightfall on the same day. Is this possible?

I'm reasonably well travelled and this seemed like a good idea, though now i've booked it I'm a little concerned (my french is rubbish).

Any help is much appreciated.

Cheers.

I've been from Morrocco to Gibraltar and back in a day by ferry. Not sure how further Malaga is from Gib. The crossing took about 3 hours and we sailed from Tangier.

The best thing you can do is to make your way to the bus station in Mlaga their site is in English
http://www.estabus.emtsam.es/  and get to Algeciras and then over to either Ceuta or Tangier with this lot http://www.aferryto.com/Algeciras-ferry.htm , IMHO it's not a good idea to go into Gibraltar as the queues can be horrendous with all us expats going to Marks and Spencers to buy underwear!!
