skoda octavia interior light
Hi all, I have just bought a skoda octavia 1.9 tdi 52 plate, it has a microscan 311 alarm fitted. The problem is that the car cannot be alarmed untill the interior light has gone out due to an electrical sensing feature on the alarm and the light fades out after aprox 30 sec (fine on a dry day !) is there any way of reducing the time that the light stays on after the doors have been closed

yes i can turn it off at the switch but i still have to wait the 30 sec as the current is still being sent to the switch, just want to know if there is any way of reducing the time delay or is there a work aroung to bypass the delay so that the light goes out as soon as the doors are closed, thanks for the reply gsr
