movie shot on location in plymouth uk

hope you can help, I watched a movie in the early 80,s i think 1983, it was shot on location in & around Plymouth uk, dont remember any of the actors, but the film was themmed around navy sailors on a night out in the club land, around Union street & the Plymouth Hoe,
the sailors were involved with women, drink ect, it was quite a drama based film certificate 18 i think,
as i live in plymouth i would like to get hold of the film
