If I am made redundant and receive a redundancy payment of £1600 and then seek new employment, at what stage can I apply for Job Seekers Allowance. Thanks for any advice received.

when your notice is up. I got 14yrs redundancy money then 12 wks notice pay. You can claim once that is up, they wont take redundancy money into account

you can apply at any time though but you wont get any benefits till your notice ends
