Hi den great idea with a bit of a flaw.
I was interested in this bit of the article. "It consists of a pad which is in a small plastic bag. The user wees into the bag where the pad captures the liquid and turns it into a gel in a matter of seconds"

Which is great in theory but then still leaves you with a bag of human waste to get rid of which will ultimately end up on the floor.

the bags of powder / gel are similar to the ones you get for portable pottys for kids. As said, you then have a bag of waste to take home with you, which could be slung on side of road or in fields.

I am hoping that those people who would buy and use them when on car journeys would also take them home to dispose of. But at weekend camping and at festivals, i cant imagine anyone building a "pee-bag" wall like they often do with beer cans and binning it in correct manner.

I agree redcrx as drunks and those high on drugs are not usually noted for their anti-litter stance.
