I'm looking for a family size car (not MPV) that has plain rear bench seating, so I can fit two child seats and another child in the back. My vectra, which I really like has moulded seating and is unsuitable.

Check out a late Mondeo from Ford.  You can hold a garden party in the rear of these and it has got three belts and three headrests.
