One I have, ' Learn to speak Spanish' , is by 'The Learning Company' and is a complete interactive course. The only extra needed is to buy a microphone so that you can record your voice and play it back with an immediate assesment of how you did. The only thing I can say from experience and having done a bit of teaching and going(to learn)at night school, is that if you can tie the language in with a local evening class your progress will be more rapid. I speak english, because I was born here. I also speak fluent italian as my folks are from Italy. I speak fluent spanish as I studied this at college as I found it easy coz of my italian. As I do kung fu, I have recently starting Chinese (bloody hard!). Languages are always good to learn. Helps me when im ordering italian, chinese take-away or tapas!
