i have a hd tv connected through virgin media cable.i keep picking up a flickering
light to dark interference.ie if i watch a football match the pitch keeps flickering from light to dark.and is not caused by sunshine on the pitch. please keep any answer tchnically
low. i am 60 years old and still measure in feet and inches.!!!

Could be caused by a setting on your telly, many sets now include light sensors on the front to change the picture to the specific tone in the room. eg. the lighter your tv room is the lighter the picture gets, the darker the room the darker the picture gets.
Check in your picture settings, could be called something like inteligent sensor, turn it off. Hope this helps
