Hi I am a member of a Private memberts club I have made a clam agenst the the club because the bar staward pushed me off a stool and broke my front teeth. I wim my clam and now the club wants to withdraw my membership because there primiums have gone up. can they do this?

I would imagine, like most clubs, they can withdraw membership as they see fit........

Yes, they can refuse to admit anyone they want for any reason they want (as long as it's not covered by discrimination laws)

If it's not for real I've just wasted 20seconds.

Assuming it is, then yes they can ban you as it is a private club and they can invite who they like. I would do the same if someone had claimed money from me.

This reminds me of a friend I once knew who had an accident at work through not looking where he was going and claimed £50,000 from them. When he returned to work he was surprised that his boss made his life hell and so he eventually left.

People don't seem to have much common sense nowadays

Look at it this way...

You can refuse to admit me to your house as it's your private property. Why shouldn't they be able to refuse to admit who they want for any reason they want from their private property.

but yes they can withdraw your membership, i worked at a club where the club did exactly the same thing to a member who made a claim against them.
