overwintering fuschias

I have some fuschias in pots which I believe are not hardy so cannot stay outside. Since the frosty weather came I have them in the conservatory which is pretty cool at night, but very warm on sunny days. Consequently they have started flowering again which is very nice but if I allow them to continue flowering through the winter what will happen to them in the summer. I don't have a garage to keep them in, although have a garden hut and a greenhouse. I thought the greenhouse might be too cold for them. Can anyone tell me what is the best way to deal with them in the winter to get the best from them in the summer.

It`s a worry, especially with half -hardy plants, so I keep mine in my wooden shed in their pots and covered with a fleecy material, and just check for any mildew occasionally, and spray with appropriate mildew spray or dust with yellow sulphur.

We keep ours in the conservatory but by the house patio doors, to gain some heat from the cottage, however we do have background skirting heating in there, we have never had any problems, even in the hardest winters.

I'm worried that mine might turn into Triffids, but i trim them regularly, at the same time as servicing the bush.

I have a standard fuschia for 5 years and have always over wintered it in the conservatory, still flourishes come the spring.

Oops forgot to add that it is very rare i have heating on in the conservatory so its mainly cold in there and i beleive standards are harder to keep but i have had no problems.
