I have a sky plus box and have recorded a programme the tonypandy riots is there a way to transfer this programme to a disc

Easy if you have a DVD recorder: just play it as normal and use your DVD recorder to record it at the same time.

yes if you have a dvd recorder, it tells you how to in the sky handbook, as i recall you connect the recorder to the tv, play the program again and press record on the dvd. It only records at the play speed of the program and you can't watch tv while you are doing it.

PS some things are "locked" you can timeshift them on the sky box (record to watch later) but can't move them to DVD to share.
