Tell ya, I lead a dull as ditchwater life, and so does the rest of my family, then a dog drops into my daughters yard (see A&N) then this happened to my mum and stepdad back in the summer.

(Incase you're wondering- my parents were the couple who tried to save him)

What a bizarre set of circumstances. Must have been distressing for them.

It was CAS.

My stepdad bless him is in his 70's, and my mum in her late 60's. My mum was petrified about having to go tothe inquest yesterday, she told me it was a horrible horrible experience and she can't stop thinking about him.

Apparently when it was happening, my stepdad was trying to hold his walking stick out for him to grab, but he flailing about too much, then my mum said it was like someone or something had pulled him down as he literally just disapeared before their eyes in the water.

Hi B00....I don't know how I have come into Chatterbank ; because it is a section of AB which I avoid because of all the in-fighting which goes on.

However, I am here now and having read your posting I can only say that it must have been traumatic for your parents and I feel sure you were distressed by the by the tragic incident.

Your daughters experience was also distressing.

Hope you don't have that proverbial 'third one' to which you made reference.
