Anybody know where I can buy a meat slicer that you turn the handle. The ones you can get now are electric and for safety purposes you have to keep your finger on the button so I found it awkward keeping the button and carving. My friend said her sister in law had one in the south of ireland. I have googled it but to no avail. Thanks

thanks everybody - great answers here.
Can can it be more awkward to press a button than turn a handle?
The OP found it more awkward, so yes.

this is a late answer - the button was on complete end of the slicer - you were at the front trying to cut the meat and as I say finger had to be kept on button all the time probably for safety nuisance. Look one up - you can see them in argos - remember at one side and meat cutter on the side - bit of a pain
