Love Me, Love my Face

Did anyone watch this programme on BBC Three last night, about Jono Lancaster, a young man born with Treachers Collins Syndrome.
The programme was particularly interesting to my wife and self as we have known Jono since he was a few days old.
His adopted mother Jean was one of our best friends, she used to go on holiday with us, in our caravan. We have seen Jono growing up from a baby of a few days until the fine young man he is today, and the programme brought back many memories.

I didn't see the programme but I read an article he did last week. It made me sad that he tried to contact his birth parents and they didn't want to know but it's nice to see he has risen above it and seems to be enjoying life despite other peoples ideas of beauty and perfection.
