Hi guys, hope you're aall having a good evening.

I've bought myself a skirt with a hankerchief hemline, my question is........ how do I wear the hemline of the skirt? it's got a stright edge and then the triangular bit - does it go on the side, front of back?

tia (& yes i'm a female so no funny answers please)

where's the zip?
Why don't you google hankiechief hemline images? You'd see there how its worn

thanks for your replies. Boo, there's no zip - its elasticated & no lable either. I googled as suggested but the hemline looks different to what i've seen - no straight part like on mine
I would say the straight bit should be at the front...scroll down for pics here- http://old.burdastyle...orum/show_topic/13566

thanks for your answer pasta, I think i will try that.
Obviously innovation can't read the question fully!! lol
It's not a hankerchief hemline if it is only longer on one side, it;s a High-Low hemline and the low is worn at the back
Question Author
thanks dotty - that seems to look nearer to it but still not quite there. x
U have a tweed hi-low skirt with a brown lining, the loner part of the hem is meant to be at the back, they are designed to wear with knew-high boots so that the hem of your skirt does not catch in the top of your boots at the back and spoil the line,
gawd what crap typing!
'I' not 'U; and 'knee' not 'knew'
