Have you seen the ad for Sainsburys? There is a Welsh male voice choir singing All Through The Night. What's the connection with that song and Christmas? Do the welsh only sing it at Christmas time?

seems is considered a Christmas carol also.
Seems like a lullaby perhaps for the baby Jesus, mamy.
This is true and very beautiful too.
What doe sit have to do with 'baby jeezus'?
*does it
Its a lovely carol, not sure what the connection is!

Dos it wat?
Baby Jesus is the whole point of Christmas Naz so a lullaby is just right. Don't spoil it please, I am an agnostic but can still connect with the situation.
I wasn't trying to spoil any illusion you may have, I wanted to know how you made a connection between the lyrics of that song and jeezus, nothing more.
Shhhhhhhhh, it's sabouth, :)

It's a hymn or lullaby, here at the words - I've always associated it with the Nativity, Mary singing it to her new baby as she watches over him http://www.contemplat...m/wales/allnight.html
...PS it was the food that attracted me to the ad though, it looks very yummy!
Ah, then you mean the English words, not the literal translation ... now I see. Thanks
I can see the Welsh words but most of us wouldn't be able to translate directly, naz....
Oh gosh!!! Put your man bags down please shhhhhhhhhhh!!
the Welsh are mostly shepherds, shepherds watched over baby jesus. Shepherds witnessed the guardian angel etc etc etc.

Give it up to Wales :)
You don't 'need' to ... mamyalynne posted a link way back.
