Your christmas day

How many pople are you having round/ will be where-ever you're going?

It started off with five of us, now there's six and possibly 7, and thats only after 1 week of first planning it, god knows how many there'll come the actual day.

As has been usual for the past 20 years or so,I shall be spending Christmas alone.
As I am single people tend to over look me a the festive season,and I am too proud to suggest myself.
Please don't feel sorry for me,I would rather be alone than in an atmosphere of false bonhomie!

Not sure at the moment we rotate round the family and we were supposed to be going to my nieces' who is the manageress of one of the local pubs but apparently the place might be closed before Christmas, so were we'll end up I don't know but there are usually around 25 adults and 10-15 kids

I think that this year, for the first time in 30 odd years, it's just the two of us!.......Thought about it!..........has to be different!.......we're going up into the mountains, and having a really lovely picnic!............can't wait!..............

There will be 8 including me, and I am in charge though family do contribute to cost, love it even though it can be tiring.

Welshlibranr- that sounds lovely. I wish we could do that. Ive wanted to go away for Christmas for years but we usually have our son up from London and my M in Law for a couple of days. She has been in hospital for 2 weeks and we dont know when shes coming home or if she will make it. We`ve said for the last 3 years that she may not be here for christmas but she proves us all wrong, so we will wait and see. Im sure my son will keep coming up for much longer, especially when hes married and settled down. We love seeing him but I would love to have just the two of us and go up into lake district mountains on Christmas morning.
I havnt even started thinking about Christmas yet. I seem to dread it more every year .

I can't even think about what I'm doing tomorrow let alone Christmas Day. Probably going round to my parents for present opening and dinner. It will be different this year though as we have a little one.

Just me this year...will have Christmas in June-or whenever lil pasta and BF come back from Oz.
I've had a few invites-but realise I'd not be comfortable with any other than my own family at Christmas....so-I'm just going to spoil myself....lol

probably stting around a pool in the afternoon after going to a restaurant for a Christmas lunch

Hi sqad....she said she might-if she makes enough money for the airfare.....Me-I really can't afford it...(sad face).

Same as every other year. Get up at about 6, go to sisters (still in PJ's) with Dad, watch her kids open presents, have breakfast, go home with Dad and sister -kids, wait for other sister to show up, wait for sister1 kids to appear from their Dads, eat dinner, kids open more presents, go to boyfriends, eat more dinner, get drunk. Boxing day most of the family head over to my brothers where about 20 of us eat christmas buffet, kids open even more presents and the adults play stupid Wii games the kids should be playing but are not allowed to.
