Yes. I hate to be late, I think it's disrespectful to the people who are waiting for you.
I have to be at work on time as I open the doors! If the staff are late they know that they will lose break time, yes it matters, but on my day off I stay in bed and never look at a clock
Yes and Yes and Yes.

I had friends like that Redhelen! I went without them one night they were never late again.
I hate tardiness. I'm always punctual, never late, and never keep others waiting. And I expect others to be on time too. I do understand though unforeseen circumstances crop up, and might be beyond ones control. I might show a bit of understanding then.
I'm always early for everything and I detest it when others are late. Now I know what peoples habits are though, I will tell them to be somewhere an hour earlier than they need which usually means they show up an hour later than told, therefore the correct time.
I am so paranoid about being late that I always turn up early. Which I reckon is better than being rude enough to be late. I would have to have a very good excuse to be late, to satisfy myself.
The thing it that people who are always late seem to think that because that's the norm for them then it's ok. I've heard quite a few say "oh you know what I'm like, I'm always late" and it bugs me so much. I bet if I called and told them I had 50k for them which they needed to pick up at 3pm exactly, they would be there ready and waiting.
What annoys me at work is people who are late for meetings (for whatever reason). If it's me (cos the train's late, e.g.), I just sidle into the room and try to pick up as quickly as possible. Others burst in, saying "oh gosh you should see the traffic" blah blah, disrupting what's going on, as if we really want to know, particularly if someone's been in mid-flow. Late = slide in, please!
As a youngster I went for a job interview turning up at 8.55 for a 9am appointment The Managing Director came out of his office and told me to leave as I was 5 minutes early, telling me to come back at 9am prompt. I left and never went back. I am a stickler for timekeeping and still am. I could never work for someone like him.
That's ridiculous, micmak, you should have got extra points for being there early.
I think it's extremely rude to be late for anything - my father drummed this into me and it's stayed - as a result I'm usually very early for most things - get stressed if I think I'm going to be late for an appointment because I think it reflects a weakness in me.
Yes I like to be punctual, I had a doctor's appointment last week for 11.45 and I wasn't called in until 11.58. I'd arrived 10 minutes early so after sitting there for 20 minutes I was a bit peeved, and it showed. I'd gone for a check on my blood pressure.
I went for a heart check at the hospital last Friday. I was 15 minutes early, but wasn't seen for an hour after my appointment time. I could have got annoyed, but didn't really mind, as I got chatting to a very nice lady/patient who worked at a local hospice. It put things into perspective somewhat!
I hate people who are never on time, especially as I am always punctual.
Yes, I am punctual, I hate being late or arriving flustered.
yes im always on time.

Gran you should ask if your surgery if they have a pod,you don't have to see a nurse its a machine in put your arm into and it takes your BP and sends the result to your medical records on the computer.
Gosh 18 posts and you are all punctual. I'm afraid I am consistently about 5 mins late.
How come, Prudie? - if you know that, could you not set your clock five minutes ahead, then you would be on time?
