has anyone tried it? i would like to see what it tastes like because my friend always goes on about it but for 5 wafer thin slices it's nearly £9 in waitrose. Is it worth it please?

To me.......pata nigra is fabulous....soft, tasty excellent filling for a bread roll or with other Spanish tapas.

Pata nigra....."black foot".....species of pig.

i would guess it's a bit cheaper over there.
I call it sliced Pork or Spanish Ham ! I get confused with all these fancy names ! ;-))
bednobs........toast, rub a tomato over it and put the ham +olive oil (expensive if possible...virgen).......add a "touch" of garlic.

It is expensive in Spain also bednobs.

It sounds delish either way it's spelled...I like the idea of the olive oil and garlic.
ideas for omlettes please
My OH says he thinks ham n cheese omlettes are bland. Anyone got any ideas for more tasty omlettes please.
