ST 4408.. 12down ..."Appraisals, stick with them?" I have CRITICISMS but it might be CRITICISES, as this seems to suit the grammar of the clue. I am not sure where "stick" comes into it. But this once celebrated crossword isn't what it was, with numerous errors recently and I am speaking as a person who has won the silver fountain pen twice this year. So what is the consensus of opinion on 12d ?

Thanks djawhufc. Well I think you are correct, but I would like to see Oldred opinion on this !
I'd like to know when you post your entries! I've been doing the the ST crossword for 20 years......not a sausage!
In fact, I think you should send me one of your pens.......arf arf.
I'd go with criticisms, though why 'stick with them', heaven knows, typical of the ST of late....
