Blood in urine - Sqad can you help please?
8 Answers
I had an 'unusual' water infection a couple of weeks ago which seemed to clear up with antibiotics however each time the doctor has tested my urine and also the results from hospital tests each time since, shows blood (which is not visible to the eye). I have also been having a dull ache in my lower back most of the time for a while now and think it may be my kidneys. I am going for a scan this afternoon but didnt ask what kind of scan it would be? i am also wondering what they are expecting to find or what it could possibly be - questions i should have asked my doctor i know but they have come to mind since having time to think about it.

An attack of urinary tract infection with incomplete resolution ( blood still in the urine) needs further investigation.
Many causes of unresolved urinary infections, but none life threatening and may vary from bladder polyps to kidney stones.
