Is it just me, or does anyone else find it incredibly irritating that half the country seems to have adopted this "raised intonation" accent, like every time they speak they put a question mark on the end of each sentence
what about adding the word 'mate' at the end of a sentence, even if you dont know that person, also if you hate that person, so why call them 'mate'? that really annoys me.
errggh what i hate is that weird tense that people use when describing something that happened in the past as if it's happening now - often seen in the law section here
eg
"I am out drinking with my mates and get into an arguement, While this argument is going on, a man stands in front of me and hits me, i go to go past him but he wont let me ...." and so on. Have these people not heard of past tense??
