Worst Christmas Present.

What is the worst Christmas present you have ever had? When I was at work and so that no-one would be left out, we all had to buy a present for a person whose identitiy we did not know. The present was supposed to be suitable for male or female. One Christmas the idiot allocated to me bought a packet of small cigars. I didn't smoke and I am female. I was puce with rage!

I'm not sure if this is true but my ex-english-teacher told me that when she was a teenager, her nan gave her a pair of those really old fashioned bloomer knickers. What's worse, there was a hair in it, to which the grandma said 'oh yes I tried them on but they didn't fit, so i thought you could have them!'

I've posted this before, but my SIL once got me a 'girls' night in kit' - which was aimed at 13 year olds or something. It was a tin containing invitations to a sleepover, a dice with suggestions like 'talk about boys' on it, a pedicure set with hot pink nail varnish and a jar of face mask which had been opened and had dried out. I was a 36 year old newly wed mother of a 10 year old at the time - I don't think she likes me....
