Whenever I try to turn on my ipod, a symbol of a folder next to a caution sign with an exclamation point pops up and then it either resets itself or it freezes. Whenever I plug it into my labtop, not only does it make my labtop really slow, but it constantly says Do Not Disconnect even when I leave it plugged it over night.

not completely sure what your problam is, but an ipod will always say 'do not disconnect' until you eject it on the itunes screen
