Not sure where to post this, but here goes.
I'm looking for a colour printer that isn't expensive to run and is capable of printing 2000 double sided A4 pages in one hit every month. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks.

I assume this is for a business? in which case I'd recommend contacting a local copier and printer leasing company and ask what they can do for you as it will probably work out cheaper in the long run.

Ha ha, it's a thought society. :o)
Thanks for answering Chuck. It's actually for use in my charity work. I already have a duplex laser printer - a Xerox Phaser 6180 - which gives excellent quality but is so expensive to run. It costs over £600 to replace the toner which doesn't last long at all. I was wondering if there was a sturdy inkjet on the market that would be capable of handling the load. I'm not really too worried about speed. I'm happy to set it going and let it get on with it.

Most inkjet cartridges last about well under 1000 pages (about 500 is closer to the norm), so you'd be looking at about 8 sets of cartridges for 4000 pages! for high work rate stuff laser is the only option (high capacity toner cartridges last upto 10000+ pages)
I'd stick with my original idea that a lease contract might be cheaper in the long run, or if not have you considered getting quotes from local printing firms to see what they would charge for the run?
