We also get round HIM getting into the house as we have a big giant brass key in a ribbon that we put on the back door Christmas Eve.

Why not just write a letter yourself and put it through your own letter box. You could personalise it then.

oh great thanks woofgang im glad that portable north pole is back. i work i a reception class and they loved it last year! (off again with tonsillitis thanks to the germy little blighters!)

If you stick it up the chimney he will reply in kind on Christmas morning. It worked for me till I was 13. I must have been a naughty boy the following year, and probably still am, as he hasn't been back since.
