thanks to u both, i know stain devil is available at supermarkets, but where will i find guardsman?

You can purchase over the internet, from guardsman, it is a full cleaner, I have a cream leather corner suite myself and this has removed ink and all sorts. try a google search

Try wiping with milk - usually works.

Try Methylated spirit, it usually removes biro
