Hi, I have a Whirlpool cooker hood / extractor fan which requires the light bulb to be replaced every couple of months. Does anyone know if it is possible to use energy saving bulbs on this, and if so, what kind / size? Thanks

Cooker hood bulbs tend to be labelled ''Heat Resistant''. Make sure you're buying the righ kind.. It's unlikely any low energy bulb would meet this requirement. Also, cooker hood bulbs are usually small, and I doubt if you'd get a small enough low energy bulb to fit in the limited space found in most cooker hoods.
no to be honest i wouldnt say so ideally , the normal bulbs are only 40w anyway , and you get them from www.leedsappliances.co.uk quite cheaply.
