My car died on me yesterday, my FIL came and jump started in this morning and I took it for a run to town and back and it was fine. Went to get in it to go and pick the kids up and it's dead - absolutely nothing, just waiting for the garage to come and get it - gonna cost money we currently can't afford :(
Walked to the school to get the kids, my youngest is asthmatic and has a bad chesty cough at the mo, the walk home in the cold has left him a coughing wheezy mess. He also said he never ate his lunch as he doesn't feel well (1/2 of the school are currently off with a stomach bug) I also feel sick as a dog! Just to top things off, the sledges I ordered for the kids have gone out of stock and they emailed me today to tell me I wouldn't be getting them, I stubbed my little toe and I had a note through my door to tell me they had tried to deliver 2 parcels and I need to collect them from the sorting office which is 4 miles away!!
How long 'til bedtime? I've had enough for one day.
xXx
oh dear your're not having fun are you? if it makes you feel any better i'm having a broccoli date too, no sleep last night and non stop car problems all day:-(
Hi, pinkilady :) The weather doesn't bother me, prefer winter to summer. Can't see an end to money tightness at the mo, can't pull our belts in any tighter!
Sorry I know I sound like a right miserable cow xXx
At least you have a working computer.
Your children are now home and warm and safe in the comforts of home, and filled
You weren't stranded on the motorway in this weather, at least you were home
Doesn't sound like your toe is broken.
You still have the option of getting the parcels from the sorting office.
There are many, many kids who aren't fortunate enough to even get a 'late' present.
Hope tomorrow will be brighter, happier and all round better. x
I know, society, just felt like a good moan that is all, there is always someone less fortunate.
Things are great, fluff, will try and find you on Facebook and have a catch up x
Thanks, pinkilady :) x
