Having got a new laptop lately, I tried to sign into ITunes. It's so long since I registered I have forgotten my password. ITunes said it would send me a reminder e mail. This was over a week ago. What should I do?

would it not be easiest to simply open a new itunes account?

Thats a very good point. I have my library fully backed up so its never ben something I worry about but your right that apple do give you the option to re-download tracks a few times.

Suggest you post on the apple support forum as they are often answered by an apple representative. Sorry cant be of more help.

Why don't you use the email they sent you and remind them that you are still waiting on your password?

its easier to just change your password go on itunes store and look for the relevent tag or if you go to itunes help it will tell you how its pretty easy and only takes a minute .dont worry about losing your songs they will be ok

Oh sorry Society. No, this was all done via the ITunes web site. I asked for the reminder pressed confirm and it flashed up saying they'd sent me the reminder but I'm still waiting. What else can I do?
