Utility Suppliers

I'm looking to may be change my utility suppliers to see if I can get a better deal.

I'm just wondering if anyone knows of a website where you can input, say your costs, and it works out who would be the best supplier of gas, electric etc.

Be very cautious of these comparison websites. Let me just put to you some information that was in the Sunday Telegraph this week. "...for most medium-use customers who pay monthly direct debit, the cheapest electricity and gas is likely to be from the Utility Warehouse, but some of the switching services do not list the company...."  "when an energy-comparison website claims to be independant and impartial, it is possible that this is not entirely true, and that it has a financial incentive to direct you to switch to the energy provider that pays it the most commission." "they make there money from the energy companies, who pay them commission fees (from �20 to �50 a time) to deliver customers" I could go on and on but i would recommend the Utility Warehouse as my bills have halfed by switching to them. Current advice from  http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/cgi-bin/viewnews.cgi?newsid1103281560,22751,   is to hold off changing for a bit because all the prices are about to change.

There will be updates on their cheapest supplier in due course.

Martin's MoneyTips website is supposed to be free of corruption and he is used as independent money-saving expert by by The Guardian and TV companies.
