How do I send a link with gmail.

Hi all
I need to send a link to my friend about a web site I have come across and will be of assistance to him, can someone please tell me how I can complete this task?

I don't use Gmail but, to the best of my knowledge, exactly the same method works for including links with all email clients and with all web-based email services (as well as for, say, posting links here on AB).

Go the web page you want to link to.
Right-click in the address bar at the top of your screen (to highlight the link).
Select 'Copy'

Place your cursor where you want the link to appear within your email.
Right-click and select 'Paste'
