Although more recently, waking up on Christmas day 90 miles from home with excrutiating back pain and having to spend the day alone. And really wanting my mum!!!!

I am sure there are people who wake up on Christmas Day with far far worse though.

My childhood Christmases were nasty.

I don't get it. Why would you want to wake up as a child? Children look forward to opening presents at Christmas, surely you the adult could buy yourself any present you want...
