I knew I shouldn't have flicked throgh the cb posts from the last couple of days. I saw a psot about the winner of i'm a celeb, but I havent watched the final yet. We recorded it so we could skip the adverts, as we wanted to watch have I got news for you and qi . . . . when will \i ever learn not to do something like that.

Have you ever done similar?

Trying very hard not to know the results of a sporting event, and then my father in law ringing up to congratulate me that my team won.... grrr...

That must be really annoying. On some of those sporting programmes they even tell you to look awya fi yuo don't want to know the scores, then that happens!
It happened to me this year, England V Germany in South Africa. Had to work - gutted! But by some miracle got all the way home without knowing result only for my brother to tell me the result when I got in. To be fair he saved me the agony of watching the match, which we lost and crashed out of world cup!

oh dear jd, but like you say, at least you didn't have to go through the agony of watching it all.
Happens to me all the time mollykins, as I live abroad and have to download all the progs I want to see and hard as I try, the result is always published before I get to watch it the following day!
